Indian star cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car accident on Friday morning shocked the cricketing world. Pant was driving his Mercedes on his way from Delhi to Uttarakhand when he was involved in an accident near Roorkee. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) informed that the left-handed batsman suffered two cuts to his forehead and a torn ligament in his right knee and is currently being treated at Max Hospital in Dehradun. After news of the accident broke out, prayers and blessings poured in from all directions.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has responded to this matter. “Sad over the accident of famous cricketer Rishabh Pant. My prayers for his good health and wellbeing. @RishabhPant17,” he tweeted.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has provided an update on the health of the 25-year-old cricketer. Panter suffered two forehead wounds and a torn ligament in his right knee but is in a stable condition, read a statement from the cricket team.
“India goalkeeper Rishabh Pant was involved in a car accident near Roorkee, Uttarakhand early Friday morning. He was taken to the Integrative Specialist and Trauma Center of Saksham Hospital for treatment for impact injuries. Rishabh suffered two wounds on his forehead and a torn ligament in his right knee Injuries, right wrist, ankle, toes, and abrasions on the back,” the BCCI statement read.
“Rishabh’s condition remains stable and he has now been transferred to Max Hospital in Dehradun where he will undergo an MRI scan to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further treatment plan.”
“BCCI has been in constant contact with Rishabh’s family, while the medical team is in close contact with the doctors who are currently treating Rishabh. The board will ensure that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and receives all the support he needs during this traumatic phase,” the statement added .
