Her lawyers said she had not been given any documents from the Bureau of Enforcement, after which the court told the ED to do so. The case will go to trial on November 10.

Jacqueline Fernandez has said she was unaware of gifts brought in with illicit funds.

The ED objected to her request, saying she tampered with evidence during the investigation by erasing data from her phone. The agency also said she had not been cooperating with investigators. She wanted to leave India but couldn’t because her name was on a “lookout notice” or a list of people prevented from fleeing the country, the ED said in court documents.

Another actor, Nora Fatehi, was asked about the gifts she allegedly received from Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
