Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan once again praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi when comparing corruption with Pakistan Muslim League (N) Supreme Leader Nawaz Sharif.
In a video circulating on the internet, former Prime Minister Khan can be seen talking about Nawaz Sharif’s possessions outside Pakistan (foreign).
He then took a scathing attack on Nawaz, saying that “except Nawaz, no other leader in the world has fortunes worth billions of dollars.”
“Tell me that a prime minister or leader of a country has billions worth of property abroad. How much property does Prime Minister Modi have outside India, even in our neighbouring countries?” he said while addressing a public gathering.
“No one can imagine how many assets and properties Nawaz has abroad,” Imran Khan added.
This is not the first time Imran Khan has praised India. Earlier, he was seen praising India’s foreign policy.
Imran Khan praised India for buying discounted oil from Russia and said his government was doing the same with the help of an independent foreign policy, slamming the Pakistan Muslim League (N)-led government as “like a headless chicken” Running around “the economy is in disarray”.
“Although India is part of the Quartet, India is under pressure from the US and buys discounted Russian oil to relieve the pressure of the masses. Earlier, also in April, the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief hailed India as a “khuddar quam” (a very self-respecting person) and said no superpower can give orders to its neighbors, acknowledging that New Delhi and Islamabad are not Share a good relationship.
“Indians are khuddar quam (people of great self-respect). No superpower can impose conditions on India,” he said Friday in a national address on the eve of a controversial no-confidence vote that looked certain to fire him.
Imran Khan said India and Pakistan were independent but Islamabad was used as a tissue.
“We gained independence with India, but Pakistan was used as a tissue and thrown away,” he said, adding that while he was not anti-American, the foreign conspiracy was an “attack on our sovereignty”.
